1.What have you done on the team?

I have designed the Year 2 and year 3 robot with my team mates. I have worked on CAD and heavy machinery.  I am one of the main machinists and have had the privilege to work with heavy machinery such as the mill, CNC router, and the lathe.

2.What have you learned most from your experience?

Overall I would say when it comes to the team, I learned that you have to find the best balance between teamwork and individuality in order to be successful.

3.What are your goals for this year?

My goal is to do well at the NJ State Competition and get better at using CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software.

   4.What's your favorite class?

My favorite class would be Digital Design because I do a lot of digital creation and I’ve always been into art. I also enjoy using skills I learned from the class in the Tech Lab.

5.What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I play video games with vocal communication. I also play Dungeons & Dragons (DND) and I’m part of a writing community, SEP Wiki.

6.What has been your favorite moment on the team?

My favorite moment was the first time we won the Think award because it was a great ending to an all-around great competition for the team.

   7. If you could go back and tell your freshman self anything, what would it be??

I would tell myself to pay attention in math and don’t fall asleep in class. I would also tell myself to work on prioritization and communication as well as get into CAD and DnD earlier.

8.What do you want to be when you grow up and why?

I would want to do something that will allow me to use my designing and engineering skills.

9.If you could switch places with anyone, who would you be and why?

I would switch places with Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek because Jean-Luc is looked on as a leader in a very interesting society. Even though Jean-Luc is in a position of power, he shows humility in is work and thats what I admire about him.
