Surya is a junior at Robbinsville High School; this is his third year on NEMESIS Prime. In the past three years, Surya has primarily worked on building aspects for the robot such as this year’s mecanum drivetrain, last year’s tank drivetrain, and the rookie year’s conveyor belt intake system. He has received plenty of hands-on experience and knowledge about mechanical engineering by working on the robot and its subsystems. This year, he is very excited to start learning CAD and applying those skills as well as mentoring new members. Outside of robotics, Surya enjoys playing video games, playing basketball, going out with his friends, and eating Taco Bell.
